Broadcom-VMWare withdrawal from LOT Network triggers membership spike

LOT Network has seen a spike in membership because Broadcom initiated it will withdraw VMWare, which it recently bought, from the defensive patent organisation. LOT Network CEO Ken Seddon says he believes Broadcom, which has an active patent monetisation programme, intends to monetise some of VMWare’s 11,000 patent assets.
