Another community benefit:
Members can now buy and sell patents
through the LOT Patent Marketplace – broker-free

Here’s what you get when you take advantage of our free service — a benefit exclusive to LOT Network members:

Peace of mind
When you buy or sell patents using the LOT Network Patent Marketplace, you can have the peace of mind that you’re selling to another trusted operating company — and not a PAE.

Save Money
There’s no need to pay for listing your sales through a broker when your transaction goes through our Patent Marketplace — and you get an early look into what may be on the market.

How does it work?

Only LOT members can buy and sell through the Patent Marketplace.

If you’re selling
You can simply download our short Seller’s Agreement here, complete the form and send it to marketplace@lotnet.com. LOT will notify our members letting them know that you have listed assets for sale on our platform.

If you’re buying
You’ll get an email communication when member patents become available. You can decide whether to negotiate the transaction directly or ask LOT Network to keep you anonymous. If you wish to be anonymous, you can contact marketplace@lotnet.com. LOT can help you navigate the process to get the assets listed. Once basic terms have been agreed, you’ll communicate directly with the seller to close out the transaction.

Frequently asked questions

If you are a LOT Network member, you will automatically be added to a mailing list to be notified of patents when they become available for sale.

You can opt out of the email list at any time.

Sellers who participate give LOT Network the exclusive opportunity to list the assets and make them available to all LOT members before listing them elsewhere. Sellers determine how long the exclusivity period lasts (“Offer Period”).

LOT Network does not disclose a potential buyer’s identity until the terms of the sale are accepted, unless the buyer has given express permission.
