Friends of LOT:

It’s hard to believe that we are already midway through 2022, but we are happy to report that LOT Network continues its rapid growth trajectory. We now have more than 2,150 members and 3.5 million patent assets under our protection, including 15% of all US patents. We continue to work hard to increase our membership so member protections will continue to grow.

We are also actively planning our annual member meeting, LOT Network BRIDGE, and are thrilled to announce that Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, will be our keynote speaker. Kathi is a strong proponent of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and I’m proud to say that our meeting this year will include a half day dedicated to just that. A consortium of IP leaders from Google, Meta, Microsoft, Disney, Cruise, and Amazon will be leading this session—more to come on that later. Mark your calendars as BRIDGE will be held on September 29, 2022, at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco with the DEI event the day before.
