LOT shelters you from PAE litigation while enabling you to protect your innovation. Members are free to sell their patents to anyone, or to use them to use other companies — even other members.
Our members agree that if, and only if, their patents fall into the hands of a PAE, all other members are granted a license to those patents — rendering them immune from a PAE lawsuit involving those assets.
