Microsoft, Denso and 60 others join this summer – LOT nearing 300 members

While many were enjoying family vacations this summer, LOT had another record quarter of growth.   We added 60 members including some of the largest portfolios in the world with the addition of Microsoft, AIG, Denso, SpaceX, Take 2 Interactive, Arista, Equifax, Priceline/Bookings, and numerous startups.  With our growth rate going vertical, we are able to immunize our 295 members from over 1.35 million assets in the hands of a PAE.  Hear from Microsoft on their blog about why they felt that joining LOT was the right thing to do.

Planning for LOT Network® BRIDGE 2019: Women in LOT (WiL) program is expanding – get involved!!

LOT Network is a non-profit organization whose sole focus is to maximize the value that we provide to our members.  Beyond the immunization value we offer, LOT also holds an annual all-members meeting to facilitate networking and information sharing.  BRIDGE 2019 will include a keynote presentation from Director Iancu of the USPTO and is moving to The Palace Hotel in San Francisco to accommodate our growing membership.

Another value add is the Women in LOT (WiL) program started last year whose focus is to meet the needs of the many women in our community.  The mission of WiL is still being shaped. Caitlin Gardner and April Griffith from member company JP Morgan Chase have stepped up to take the lead on defining the mission statement and objectives for WiL:

Community of professionals forging pathways for women in IP providing a diverse network of support through inclusive environments, cross industry collaborations, and mentor engagement.

We all want Women in LOT to become a premier organization that is addressing the needs of our members.  To optimize this opportunity, we’re looking for people within our community, regardless of gender, to get involved and to help drive this initiative forward.  This includes people with interest in driving regional programs, developing mentorship programs, getting involved as mentors, and so much more.  Ready to get involved? Email wil@lotnet.com and the team will be touch with next steps.

And of course, save the date for the next LOT Network BRIDGE, May 15 and 16, 2019 at our new venue in downtown San Francisco. Hope to see you there!
