Hiroshi Okumura

Hiroshi Okumura joins LOT with his IP career of more than 35 years. Prior to joining LOT, Hiroshi was a general manager of the legal and IP division at Casio Computer Co, Ltd. Hiroshi has gained a range of professional experience in various fields of intellectual property, including patent prosecution, infringement litigation, licensing and transactions, anti-counterfeiting, trademark licensing, and due diligence in M&A. Between 1997 and 2003, Hiroshi worked at Pennie & Edmonds LLP, an IP boutique law firm in New York, and represented Casio in resolving patent infringement litigation and patent disputes in the United States with Casio’s outside counsel. Hiroshi passed the US patent bar exam in 2003.
