Beaverton, OR—April 1, 2015—LOT Network Inc., an international patent network that is proactively addressing the risks of patent assertion entities (PAEs) and patent privateering, today announced that its Board of Directors had appointed Ken Seddon as its first Chief Executive Officer.

I appreciate the support of the Board and feel privileged to join,” said Ken Seddon. “PAEs are creating a burden that is affecting companies and their ability to innovate. Mr. Seddon has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property management and litigation, as an executive and as a lawyer, with some of the largest patent holders in the world including Apple, Intel, Micron, and Motorola. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. He also earned a master’s degree in Solid State Device Physics and a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University.
